SDKMV School, Phagwara is a premier school which educates 1500 underprivileged girls. This school needed books and furniture for its library to provide resources for young girls to aid their education. Chance Foundation provided funds to facilitate the same. In addition, the foundation also sponsored painting the library to make it more welcoming to our budding scholars.

Sanitary Provisions
It is well known that poor girls are unable to purchase sanitary pads. Many end up using dirty clothes that cause infection and often lead to serious health problems. In some parts of India, some poor women are compelled to use ash, sand and leaf during periods. To address this urgent need for poor girls, Chance Foundation sponsored sanitary pads supplies for a year in the SDKMV school in Phagwara, Punjab. This is a small contribution towards a huge need.
