Invitation for Project Proposal

Dear members,

Thank you very much for being a part of CHANCE Foundation and actively supporting the cause. This organization belongs to all passionate and likeminded people like us who want to make a difference in the world.

Our Mission:
To empower underprivileged children by providing resources for education, health and life skills development.

One of the goals of CHANCE Foundation is to provide a platform to its members to actively participate in projects. With that in mind, we are proud to invite project proposals from members who want to make a difference by implementing a particular project idea of their liking that align with our above stated mission. One of the proposals will be selected for sponsorship by CHANCE Foundation in 2017 after proper vetting. So, hurry – submit your proposal and make a difference in the lives of these deserving children!!!

Submit your proposals to CHANCE Foundation by email on or before July 20, 2017. Names of all the proposals received will be announced at our annual meeting on July 23, 2017. A winning proposal will be announced on August 15, 2017. The final funding approval is subject to and will take place only after a full vetting.

Guidelines for the proposal
  • Should be directly related to our mission
  • Beneficiaries can be at any location in India
  • Implementation must be possible in association with and through legal and registered nonprofit organizations only.
  • Self-sustaining projects with one time fixed cost of up to $5,000 will be preferred. However, projects with recurring annual cost of up to $5,000 will also be considered for funding.
  • High level of accountability, transparency and oversight will be a must
  • Proposal must include all the basic information specified in Proposal Outline section.
  • The selected proposal will require more detailed information and must pass all the vetting requirements of pre-approval audit by CHANCE Foundation.
  • The author of the selected proposal is expected to help with the feasibility study and pre-approval vetting of the proposal. However, Board members’ decision will be final
  • CHANCE Foundation reserves the right to not sponsor any project, if all the required criteria are not met
  • The author of the selected proposal is encouraged (but not required) to be the champion of the project!
