As the pandemic continues to rage through the world and anxiety weighs heavy on many fronts, Chance Foundation steps up its impact and determination to help children that are deeply impacted by these circumstances. Chance 2020 initiative has already raised about $15K and now presents many different options for you to engage and contribute. But before we get into that, we are absolutely thrilled to share exciting updates from our partnership with Adire Trust and AdiVidya project that is a direct beneficiary of Chance 2020 funding.
ADIRE’s initiatives are managed through four H.E.L.P. Centers to develop 21st century smart villages of the world and they work to emphasize preventive healthcare, renewable energy, quality education through modern/internet learning techniques, and income-generating production systems which are integrated with the surrounding natural resources.
Under the learning umbrella, Chance Foundation is very pleased to sponsor kids in AdiVidya school. This project helps poor and underprivileged parents to enroll their young kids in K-8 school. The objective is to bring the highest standard education through technologies and training of local teachers. This ensures that local skills in education and learning percolate to all in a village and the village provides a continuous stream of highly productive human resources to make it smart and art friendly. Within this project, our sponsored school kids are connected to the donors with direct video conferencing and family level interactions. This helps us in having a sustainable and long-term sponsor relationship to develop kids year after year without abandoning their study plan abruptly in the middle of their student careers.
