Board Member
Navnit lives in the western suburbs of the Twin cities with his wife Prajakta and their son. Children’s education is very close to his heart. Being a child of two teachers he believes that only education can help bring the change that India is wanting to bring about. He believes that education for the underprivileged and under-represented children in India is a priority that often gets the lip service but not the grassroots support.
Having lived overseas for the better part of last two decades he is a true desi at heart with Tamil with Telugu roots, he was born & raised in Gujarat and is married to a Maharashtrian, this melting pot of a background has helped him navigate multiple cultures and adapt quickly, he hopes to bring that thought process and attitude to the CHANCE Board.
Navnit has been involved with various charitable organizations like Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Heartland, Feed my Starving Children, Vibha, ASHA in various capacities and considers being a board member on Chance a privilege.
Navnit works for a leading Medical Device company in the Twin cities, he came to US to pursue his Masters at Michigan State University. He completed his Bachelors from the College of Engineering, Guindy in Chennai He considers himself lucky to have gotten the opportunities due to education and working with CHANCE foundation is presenting him with an opportunity to pay it forward!
