Board Director

Lalit Singla is passionate about making a difference in the world by uplifting those who’re
underprivileged. He strongly believes in building a model where an initial support and handholding leads
to ultimate self-sustenance; thereby taking families out of the cycle of deprivation and poverty.
Educating children of these families is a great vehicle to accomplish this mission.

Lalit has been living in twin cities with his wife, Anju Singla, and kids, Harshil & Sneha since 2017. He works for Optum Inc., a UnitedHealth Group company, as Sr. Director of Software Engineering. In his prior jobs, he’s worked with Humana Inc., Aetna Inc. and Infosys Technologies Ltd. Lalit did his Bachelor of Engineering from Vaish College of Engineering, Rohtak, India and Master of Science from Central Connecticut State University, USA.

Lalit’s journey with Chance started on his 40th birthday in January 2018. Thereafter, he took time to understand the organization, its mission and the team. Later that year, he made a visit to one of Chance’s projects in India. Being inspired by the on-ground impact, he decided to commit himself deeper and joined Chance as a board of director. Currently, Lalit is focused on Strategy & Expansion for Chance and is deeply committed to help accelerate Chance’s mission.
