Vasudha Balyan

Board Member

Vasudha Balyan lives in Chaska, Minnesota with her husband Davender Balyan and two remarkable boys Bharat & Arjun working towards college and career. Her husband was former President of Chance Foundation & founding board member. Inspired by him & friends around she decided to join the Chance board. She currently works as a Senior software developer at US Bank. She has a Master’s in computer applications(MCA) from Engineering college Gwalior and she is a certified Scrum master.

Vasudha was born and brought up in the historic city Gwalior, India. Her favorite childhood memory is of reading comics like Champak, Nandan, Chandamama, Parag, diamond comics & going to grandparents’ house in summer vacation. She is very fond of taking long walks, doing yoga, watching TV, going for vacations and reading fiction. Her new hobby is painting which she really enjoys. She follows BK Shivani and she is spiritual and has relied on her faith in all aspects of life.

Vasudha feels passionate about all children, especially the underprivileged ones, getting the same opportunity to follow their dreams as she and her family did. Children and causes related to children are close to her heart. Vasudha firmly believes – “Our life is a privilege and a blessing, and we should do everything possible to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate. Kids have the least control over their circumstances and need all our love and care. There is no excuse for not doing your part”. Being part of Chance Foundation provides her the opportunity to make a difference.
